Test Email Overview
Before you send an email to a whole Segment, it's always worth sending yourself a test first. A test lets you see exactly what your contacts will see — layout, images, links, and buttons — right in your own inbox, so you can catch anything before it goes out.
This article covers the new CRM & Email experience (your left navigation shows CRM and Email). If your left nav shows Contacts and no Email item, this feature isn't part of your account.
Send a Test
Open the email you're working on in the Email Builder.
Choose Send a test.
Enter the email address where you'd like the test sent, and send it.
Open it in your inbox and check the layout, images, and links on both desktop and your phone.

Tip: click every link and button in your test to make sure each one points where you expect — especially your donate link — before sending to a segment.
FAQs
Q: Will sending a test affect my email stats?
A: No — a test is just for you and isn't counted as part of a campaign send.
Q: Can I send a test to more than one person?
A: Send it to yourself and any teammates whose addresses you enter, so the whole team can review before it goes out.
Q: My test email didn't arrive.
A: Check your spam folder, confirm you entered the address correctly, and give it a minute. If you're testing campaign sending specifically, remember campaigns also require a verified sending domain.
